According to the official data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, China's per capita GDP reached US$9,732 in 2018, which has exceeded the average level of middle-income countries. With 1.4 billion population, Chinese high-end rehabilitation equipment and new healthcare products market demand is growing  with the increase of the per capita income and the government’s  investment in rehabilitation. Chinese government further expanded its opening to the outside world and encouraged foreign goods to be imported into China from 2018, the  trade surplus has reduced for 11 consecutive quarters since 2018, the main reason is that China has continuously expanded its imports in recent years, among the fastest growing products were included the medical health and senior care products. As the international professional industry exhibition certified by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Rehacare & Orthopedic China Organizing Committee applied subsidies for foreign SMEs from Chinese government (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) to encourage the import of rehabilitation medical products, it expected that more foreign SMEs enterprises participate in the exhibition, and take the opportunity to tap into Chinese market, bring the newer and better rehabilitation medical equipment and health products to China.  Meanwhile , in order to bring better exhibit effect, more targeted Chinese importers of healthcare products will be specially invited to R&OC .
